So, did you know that May is Disability Insurance Awareness Month?

What are the chances you or a loved one could become disabled at some point during your working years? Could you continue to take care of your family and pay your bills if you were sick or injured and unable to work for an extended period of time?

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the U.S. one out of every five adults has a disability. Three out ten people entering the workplace will become disabled for at least three months or more at some point before retirement.

You may be thinking, “This won’t happen to me.” If so, then you are among the 65% of people who think they have a 2% or less chance of becoming disabled. The fact is, the odds are closer to 30%.

We, in the health insurance industry recognize the scope of this issue and are here to help you.

If you have never considered Disability Insurance but are thinking maybe, it’s time to reconsider we are here to help.

Feel free to reach out to a team member at INA and get that Peace of mind knowing that your family’s financial security would still be protected even if you were unable to earn an income due to a disability.

In closing “Mama looked into me and saw something worth believing in, long before I believed in myself”! Compliments of Keion Jackson!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the outstanding Mother’s out there!
