According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the U.S. one out of every five adults has a disability. Three out ten people entering the workplace will become disabled for at least three months or more at some point before retirement.
You may be thinking, “This won’t happen to me.” If so, then you are among the 65% of people who think they have a 2% or less chance of becoming disabled. The fact is, the odds are closer to 30%.
